These products are handmade by me, Fiona Thompson, to an old recipe handed down from generation to generation. It was only the fact that I had excess beeswax having been given a hive of bees from an old gamekeeper as a wedding present that enabled me to go into production.

I experimented with the recipe gave it to friends who told me how good it was and said I must sell it. All that happened in 1989 and I am still selling it as people constantly come back for more which is what I hope you will do when you have tried it.

The handmade element explains the difference in look between batches and pots. Out of a factory environment it is impossible to guarantee time and temperature. What I do guarantee is the products I use, my expertise gained over the years and my attention to the product itself.
